My name is Malik, and I've been a transmission operator (Master Control Room) in the television broadcasting industry for over 7 years. In 2015, I began working in a media city with over 20 TV channels and a number of IPTV channels. After that, I moved to a TV channel specializing in news and political programming, where I am still employed today.
During my work in this field, I worked on systems like Pebble Beach Systems, Vizrt Multichannel, PlayBox Technology, Broadcast Control and Monitoring System (VSM), and Evertz EMC.
My primary job's responsibilities are:
- Liaise with Ingest, Scheduling, and Creative to arrange delivery of missing and late-delivery material. - Monitor the channel for quality and continuity during the work shift.
- Setting up, controlling, and monitoring television broadcast equipment to transmit television programs and news without interruption. - Managing the graphics of the channels through Vizrt MultiChannel and TitleBox.
- Responding in a timely and effective manner to all issues and problems related to broadcasting that may arise. - Test and evaluate audio/visual signal quality at the points of transmission and reception.
-Ingesting and monitoring all incoming feeds, while ensuring all content meets the company’s high standards for video and audio quality.
