The objective of the research phase for the LGBTQIA+ dating app redesign was to deeply understand the needs and preferences of
LGBTQIA+ individuals in online dating, with a focus on three key aspects: "Select your likes" and "Select your sexual orientation or sharing current location assessment."
To understand how users approach selecting their likes on dating apps, we conducted a mixed-methods approach including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
