I'm a British mobile apps consultant, having delivered many new apps and maintained existing apps as part of a roadmap. My first app was for Orange PCS (Everything Everywhere Ltd Telco), the Orange Wednesdays iPhone and iPad apps which were very high profile apps advertised on national television in the UK with over 1 million downloads. I conceived the prototype as a self driven side project which was then picked up as part of the showcase for procuring the 2nd contract for the sale of the iPhone in the UK, which subsequently Orange won. I went on to be the Tech Lead for the Orange Wednesdays iOS apps for three years before I left to start my own consultancy. I am currently responsible for the NHS Change4Life suite of apps, having developing the Couch25k and Smart Step-O-Meter for them, as well as supporting the other existing apps. I am currently the developer for the Art Fund iOS app suite including the latest iPad incarnation and Apple Watch companion app. I have also delivered the original cross platform EUFA/WHF Eat For Goals apps in English and Spanish. I also delivered the Fast Beach 5:2 Diet app for the publishers for the book launch. Much of my work has been with picking up existing apps and updating them to latest iOS version or to help create the next major incremental version. Having extensive experience in all areas of web development, I am happy to work on Cloud platforms like AWS, SaaS, backend API or creation of SDKs to support a project and my main focus is always in creating a great end user experience.
