Call it a punchout.

A grade school softball umpire was punched in the face after a game in Mississippi, leaving her with a black eye, police said.

Kristi Moore was walking off the field in Laurel when she was attacked, she wrote in a Facebook post, sharing a photo of her injury.

“When you don’t feel you have the quality of umpires you should….this is why,” she wrote. “When the day comes that your kid can’t play a ballgame because there are no longer officials to call it….THIS.IS.WHY.”

Cops said Kiara Thomas, a 32-year-old mother to one of the players, was asked to leave the game between 12-year-old girls because she was regaling the umps with a string of profanities, local NBC affiliate WLBT reported.

Thomas walked out, but police said she stuck around outside the field and slugged Moore off the field after the game before running away, according to WLBT.

Cops arrested Thomas shortly after the incident, and she was charged with misdemeanor simple assault.
