US Registered Nurse | Customer Service

I've been a customer service representative handling phone calls for almost 7 years. I started out as a licensing engineer where I used to assist clients with software licensing concerns including some technical issues. After 2 years, I transferred to another company as a Technical Support Representative and assisted callers with internet connection issues. Then I moved to a financial institution where I assisted general concerns of the Company's credit cardholders. I was also assigned as a Documentation and Change Control apprentice where I was tasked to update our department's policies and procedures. Currently, I am working with Health Ventures Group as a Telephone Triage Nurse where I perform medical history-taking, review of systems, assessment of patients for appropriate management, referral to emergency services or referral to an appropriate physician in the caller’s state. Over the past years, I have learned several multi-tasking techniques (including but not limited to call handling, email handling, proofreading, editing, documentation, transcription, and chat support) to support people's needs and different approaches to resolving their issues. Apart from being a customer service representative, I am also a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines and an NCLEX-RN passer for the State of Hawaii?. I decided to pursue my nursing career and started to practise my profession last October 2015 in a public tertiary hospital with 250-bed capacity here in the Philippines. Prior to this experience, I used to be a nurse volunteer at another public hospital for a year where I assisted young cancer patients with their basic needs. Currently, I work as a full-time freelancer offering my customer service and nursing skills to my clients.
