I have Master's Degrees in History and Library Science and a 2 year degree in Programming and Web Development. I am most comfortable programming in Visual Basic and Java, and am very comfortable working with Access and MySql Databases. I am famliar with .Net and Netbeans development environments. In terms of Web Development, I am familiar with HTML and XHTML, and have not really had much experience with HTML5 as of yet. I have done some development using Javascript and PHP, but like Javascript better. I have quite a bit of experience doing freelance research and worked for the State of Minnesota for a number of years. I did some web development, and also wrote business profiles and research reports for Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. I am excellent with research and providing reports based on data available through databases, survey tools and in person interviews.
