I have more than 10 years of experience in developing VBA automations in Excel VBA. I have developed 500+ applications for excel process automation, excel data manipulation, automate chart updates, web scrapping, outlook automations, pdf to excel data extraction, automate word reports, automate power point presentations with VBA, dashboard creation, etc.
I always follow CMM level 5 coding standards for all my automations.
I have developed many automation projects in VBA and python over the last 10 years some examples are as follows:
1) Chart Add-in - Update all the charts in the workbook to the latest data point, resize and format all the charts based on sample chart.
2) Spotify website automation and dashboard creation - web scrapping through Spotify website for historical and weekly data and created dashboard in excel to generate reports as and when required with selected parameters.
3) Research Management Reporting Tool - Developed reporting tool in VBA excel which will generate complex reports along with emails (this task took 32 hours manually on weekly basis and now it takes only 15 minutes weekly)
4) Mutual fund India PDF automation - Scrapping the mutual funds website and extracting pdfs reports for each fund then extracting data from these pdfs to update the Master excel file.
5) Quick comment Generation tool - The tool has following tables- user access, team table, sector/segment table, user level master table, user level temporary table, quarterly format table, Mapping data table. The tool has a user form which will be different for different users based on their user access level and will provide quick comments on quarterly result published based on the company and parameter's selected. The tool will also perform trend analysis to compare the current quarter results with historical results to identify break out results if any or highlight if the result is an outlier. This product is now used by all the analyst for all sectors for our client and my company has monetized this product.
