I am an aspiring video editor with a passion for telling compelling, emotionally-driven stories. I'm particularly passionate about telling the stories of real people in a way that appeals to audiences. I love working in small, collaborative team settings. One of my favorite things is watching the look on someone's face when they connect with my work in a meaningful way. My storytelling and editing abilities have led to widespread recognition. My documentary When the Game Changes received numerous awards, including a regional Student Production Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Best Documentary in the national College Broadcasters Incorporated competition, and the ICVM Gold Crown Award. But I'm more than just a filmmaker. I've worked as a dance teacher and a historical interpreter. I play violin and coach Science Olympiad. I code websites (like this one!), ski, and knit. I'm motivated to try new things and learn new skills, and I love finding ways to combine things I enjoy.
