I'm a very experienced video editor and film editor on corporate, branding, documentary, indie film, arts and commercial projects with over 25 years of experience editing in premiere, final cut, avid and resolve. I started creating long form stories with BBC documentary films in London before moving into advertising with Saatchi's, and then expanding into DP and Directing roles across Europe. I moved to the USA 20 or so years ago, and continued to refine my editing skills on analog film and then digital cinema systems, adding color grading and color correction as an independent Colorist to my portfolio, primarily using DaVinci Resolve, specializing in large sensor footage shot on RED, Arri and Sony cameras in 4k, 6k and 8k. In Europe I'd be known as a Finishing Editor or Online Editor - the guy who comes in to perfect and output your rough cut Offline edit. In the USA this is a combination independent freelance Senior Editor and Colorist combined role. I work remotely from my studio in the San Francisco South Bay, or can come to you if that makes more sense - and my rate is negotiable, but usually per project rather than per hour.
