I have 10 years of experience working in all kinds of media. I'm trained video producer and journalist. Started as a journalist and through the years developed more towards video production. I'm what you call today an "Indie filmmaker" so I was forced to learn all crafts of the video production :). However I mostly enjoy video editing and storytelling. I'm author, co-author and editor of 4 documentary films that aired on National television in BiH and Al Jazeera Balkans, also worked as editor and DoP for more more then ten short featured films. Worked as video producer/editor and journalist for 4 years on a TV Show "Hayd u Park" that aired on national television FTV (Bosnia and Herzegovina). As a journalist I have won an award by New York's Ground Reporting Network for best world report about minorities, as a video producer I have won UNICA award for reconciliation as a part of the team of one minute film "The Intent" where I worked as editor, and was part of the team as a journalist/researcher on, two Silver Bears awarded Berlinale (Berlin Film Festival), film: "An episode in a life of an Ironpicker" by Danis Tanovic. Also, I'm IWPR trained journalist and Alumni of American Embassy. As a Freelancer, I worked for various clients producing video material. Some of my clients were/are: British Council Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey, American Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, UNICEF in BiH, Internews, Mozaik Foundation, etc. Also, I'm activist and really passionate about changing current education policies. So alongside with my colleagues I have developed non-formal curricula "Using film in education", and worked with over 1000 children and young people in Balkans, afterwards I started to educate school personnel in using the same techniques so they can include it in their work. Now I want to focus more on my freelancing career.
