I've been a freelance video editor in the Denver area for several years now. My skills with post production have developed, not only in the Colorado Film School's Post Production program, but also through years of experience and education in writing, directing, theater, multimedia, and animation. This combination of skills gives me a unique perspective as an editor. I look at projects through multiple angles. As an editor, I've worked on everything from documentaries, to social media campaigns, online course videos, event montages, promotion, narrative, and animated projects. My most successful piece to date is the feature documentary, Jon Benet's Tricycle. It premiered in the 2017 Denver Film Festival, and has since received multiple theatrical showings in the US and Japan. The press has covered it in at least four different countries, as well as in Forbes Magazine, the Huffington Post, the National Inquirer, and other publications here in the States. Currently, it has extremely high ratings on IMDB as well. It affects people differently than they are planning on. It's about the pop culture aspect that media coverage gives to tragic events. "This story should not be enjoyable, but it is." I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Character Animator, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, and a number of other programs when projects require them. Beyond editing, I do post work in color correction, audio enhancement and repair, visual effects, animation, motion graphics, shot tracking and stabilization, and rotoscoping. I enjoy working on all sorts of projects. Post Production is my jam, I'd love to work on your next video.
