I’ve been shooting and editing video professionally for over a decade. As you’ll see from my CV, my documentary films have been screened and awarded at film festivals throughout the land. I’ve written, shot, and edited hundreds of packages for institutions such as The Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago Parks District, Kraft, and De Paul University (just to name a few), and produced a spectrum of media for a number of arts organizations . This year, in a couple of months, I will be premiering my latest feature length documentary at the prestigious Chicago Underground Film Festival. I hold an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in Multi Media production, which basically means I’m almost too creative for my own good (I’m know as the “idea man” among my filmmaking piers) it also mean I can usually work fluidly with any technology that manipulates sound or images. I’ve produced live and canned web series for the web and am accustomed to wearing many hats in any given production. I enjoy the challenge of composing materiel on a limited timeline and budget, and working with and directing people for a shared purpose and goal has always been the highlight of my professional experience. Below you will find links to some of my material (vimeo/youtube) as well as an attached CV. I’d love to be a part of the team! It seems like you’re on the precipice of some very exciting stuff, I’d love to help you take it to the next level. Good Luck! Many Thanks, Ernest J.
