Originally from Canada, Aidan Colin is a Canadian Forces Veteran now entering the online media industry. He graduated from BCIT's New Media Design and Web Development program in October of 2019. Aidan strives to be truly multidisciplinary with regard to design and media. He has skills with photography, video, audio and graphic design. He also has a basic knowledge of front end code (HTML, CSS and JavaScript), social media, e-commerce and marketing. He has a particular interest in audio, video, photography and flying drones. Aidan enjoys capturing daytime cityscapes and landscapes, as well as nighttime events and live music. His long term goal is to be an entrepreneur utilizing multimedia skills around the globe in this new digital revolution. Applying his talents, Aidan wishes to spread a cautious, yet optimistic message about the state of the planet through digital media. Aidan is a Scuba Diving Instructor and former Combat Diver, he served as a Combat Engineer from 2009 to 2016. During his time in the military, he received several awards including Top Candidate of Basic Training, Combat Engineer of the Year and Combat Diver of the Year. Aidan currently lives in Koh Tao, Thailand.
