I am a video editor and camera operator from New Zealand. In New Zealand, I worked for 8 years at Channel 9 in Dunedin. Being able to multi-task was important and over the years I had roles as a video editor and camera operator before moving up to be a director of live broadcasts including the nightly news bulletin. I moved to London in 2013 where I worked for Sharp Focus Ltd. Sharp Focus is a South London production company specialising in high quality sports videos, mainly cricket, hockey and coaching videos. As part of the team I was involved in shooting and editing HD content for the English Cricket Board, England Hockey and making a wide variety of coaching videos from baseball sessions in San Fransisco to under 16s cricket in Dubai. I was project leader for an annual coaching DVD called “Wings to Fly” which was distributed to cricket coaches throughout the UK. During my time at Sharp Focus I also had the opportunity to do some documentary work, which I love. This included a piece on blind cricketer Mo Khatri which was broadcast on the BBC. I moved to Northern Ireland with in early 2016 and decided to start my own video production service – Dip Creek Productions. It’s an exciting time and I have been really enjoying getting to know this part of the world. I love creating videos for local businesses and their social media video marketing campaigns and look forward to working with many more over the coming years! As an editor I love telling stories about interesting people and finding a narrative in the footage that I am provided with. I am equally comfortable editing corporate content as I am working with sports and documentary style pieces. I pride myself on working hard and making deadlines. I think that a good relationship with clients is key and I make sure that I am always available to discuss a project and listen to people’s ideas and suggestions. I have a subscription to the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud products.
