US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said his country views African countries as equal partners.
Blinken, who made statements about the African policy of the US President Joe Biden administration, drew attention to the importance his country attaches to Africa.
"The United States considers all 54 African countries to be equal partners," Blinken said. said.
Stating that the USA considers Sub-Saharan African countries as a great strategic power, Blinken stated that his country wants to work together with African nations as equal partners in the fields of economy, climate, energy, democracy and international relations.

Minister Blinken's African tour, which started in Johannesburg on August 7, covers 3 countries, namely the Republic of South Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.

The neutral and pro-dialogue stance of African countries in the Russia-Ukraine crisis is one of the important agenda items of this tour.
Blinken will visit the Democratic Republic of the Congo on August 9 on the second leg of his Africa tour.
