With experience in research, writing, editing and layout, whatever stage of the writing process you need, I can help. As editor and then editor-in-chief for a college publication, continuing into my early alumnae years, and then working as web master and event coordinator for an academic program at Emory University, as well as through graduate work in English, I've gained a good deal of experience writing everything from flier advertisements to lengthy articles. I have edited not only my own work but publication submissions, articles of my colleagues, short stories and I have done a good deal of grading and writing tutoring both of which also hone editing skills well. Many of the stories, articles and papers I worked were written by clients with English as their second language, and I particularly enjoy helping those clients get across what they truly want to say.
