I am a professional translator and writer. I currently write content for several blogs on the following topics: running with dogs (fitness), homeschooling/unschooling, organic gardening, window farming (container gardening for small spaces), and veganism. I served as co-editor of Volunteer Voices, a newsletter of Literacy Partners, Inc. where I also managed their program data and translated their Spanish section of their website. In a volunteer capacity, I translated and managed a bilingual website and blog for Defensores de Animales, and managed their social media. This later transformed into a consultant role. I wrote a series of articles for Force Change on women's health and reproductive rights. I am a native Spanish speaker from a multi-cultural family, educated in a bilingual environment, and later graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Comparative Literature.
