I specialize in taking complex technical and computer information and making it understandable. I do this with clients and project teams by means of style guides, specifications, overviews, wireframes, and other documentation. I do this for a broader commercial audience when I write trade computer books on Web 2.0, graphic design, and web site design topics. Companies, clients, and publishers hire me because I write well, I meet deadlines, I can handle pressure, and I can help others do the same. I am a full-time self-employed consultant. Please see my "Experience" page here for details on my most recent projects and clients, and my "Publications" page for all the books I have written that are still in print.
I offer an unusual blend of content strategy, writing, editing, technical, and project management skills. If your project involves a book, a web site, a virtual world, or any other type of information design, I can help.
