John Francis created Nebulex and produced one of the first resource portals for Sun Microsystems' newly released Java programming language. The JAVA URN was recognized as one of the premier locations on the web to find newly emerging resources and applets for Java. During this time Mr. Francis also assisted in creating many online presences for mid level clients and associates. His work was recognized by key innovators in the industry and he was then brought on as Webmaster of AOL Networks. Concurrently, Nebulex remained an online resource and design "springboard" for new web entities while Mr. Francis focused on his work with AOL.com. His contributions led to the creation of Webmaster Info and the pre design and launch of the AOL Instant Messenger software.
