Problems I've solved:

-QR code creation and reading.

I built a system to scan document with a QR code sticker created by the system, then the PDF is sent to AWS where a Lambda function reads the QR code and assigns the scanned document to the appropriate case.  The software development was the easiest part.  The most difficult part was planning the workflow and how the human element of the process needed to be accounted for and processes put in place to correct for human errors (bad QR label print, dirty scans, crooked labels, missing label, etc).

- Billing integrations

I was able to connect to a vendor's server to handle billing, meeting with them to gather requirements, develop and test the code to connect to their service, and monitor activity and correct errors.

- Data ETL for updated django models

As models evolved in a healthcare system I helped build, some data needed to be ported from older models to newer models.  This required me to map out all the fields from the old to the new and build a script that would handle the data updates and report on successful and errored transfers.

- Django rules engine

I built a rules engine that would allow administrators of the site to create their own "rules" based on business logic that would update a model if certain conditions were met.  For instance, a healthcare case would be created from a certain doctor and the rule engine would dictate which biller integration would be used to send a biller message.
