My 17 years as a professional writer in the business world has graced me with the skills and expertise needed to edit any document, web page, or other item you have in a concise, diligent, and expert manner. Whether it is primarily web text you need proofread, or print media that requires a keen eye for proper grammar - it's a winning bet that I'll get it done to your satisfaction! Please know that I am an experienced SEO copywriter with a background before that in advertising and marketing, as well as journalism (having begun my professional writing career in 2000). For 10 years (since April 2007) I have successfully brought many clients the online marketing results they have sought (and then some), via my work as an SEO web content writer (which included web page writing, article submissions, professional blogging, newsletter writing/editing, and more). My most recent client assignment was for Stuart Crawford, CEO of Ulistic LP, a marketing services firm specializing in managed service providers (MSPs), aka IT services companies. I routinely put many of these companies on page one of the SERPs, and many others very near it. These IT companies are located all across North America and Australia. I would get, on average, one kudos a week from Stuart, saying things like, "You are an SEO god!" or "You got another on page one!" or some such. So, I can do what it takes to put companies on page one and get traffic, leads, and conversions, but I also possess the savvy sensibilities of a true writer, researcher, and editor (I have authored 5 self-published books) who can act as an all-around business communications guru. This allows my work to be translatable across multiple venues or platforms, e.g. in print or online, for client web pages, link building and article subs, press releases, white papers, newsletters, etc. Most recently, I have written, compiled, and edited long-form content (1,200-2,000 words) designed to meet Neil Patel's SEO guidelines, and also work as marketing sheet or white paper-type media, which worked out very well for Stuart of Ulistic and his many MSP clients. In 17 months (Aug. 2016-Jan. 2017) I wrote approx. 1,500 articles for Ulistic. My unofficial job title at Ulistic was Content Director (or Senior SEO Copywriter), and I made, on average, $35/hour (or $50 per article), so a pay rate at or near this is right for my qualifications. My job assignment ended with Ulistic in a mutually agreed-upon way on January 31, 2017 (frankly, I was tired of writing only IT services-related articles, though I wouldn't balk at doing more IT services writing if that's in your range of services). I have had experience with legal writing: In 2009-2010 I did professional blogging for a Personal Injury lawyer in Los Angeles, David Sheehan. I blogged for him on four different blog sites related to his law specialty. I made $51 per blog post. Please let me know if you would like writing samples in addition to my CV/Resume.
