Established in 1995, Microware is a rare software and consulting enterprise, one which engages significantly with both the Development and Corporate Sector. Our work spans sectors as diverse as agriculture, Water and Sanitation, telecommunications, Child development, rural livelihood and security; our clients include the foremost names in the Development and Corporate Sectors; and, our colleagues are equipped to engage substantively with wide-ranging client needs. (A detailed list of projects and clients of Microware is available further in the appendix) Even while these Sectors prima facie suggest two vastly different domains, our work in these is driven by common imperatives- substantive engagement with clients, timely, cost-effective delivery of high performance solutions. Importantly, we recognize that our work is critical to shaping perspective and crafting responses on some of the more challenging issues of the day. With Development and Communication sectors converging, as they have with the proposed Program, we find ourselves uniquely placed to respond. We have worked with over 200 clients â?? primarily in the social and development sector, and in the telecom sector, with our third vertical being the highly competitive and structured off shore development process. We supply software to IT companies, and have provided practical solutions to Governments, UN Agencies, Foundations, NGOs and INGOs. We have worked with ICDS Maharashtra since 2004, we support the entire program for Educate Girls, and have worked on various Education programs across the board for the Tata Trusts. Save the Children has been a major client with multiple system for the past six years, we work on Child sex abuse with Arpan, and have worked with ICPS nd other programs. less
