Web development is my specialty and where I've had professional experience. Mobile App development and Desktop Application Development are also things I can do, but have learned myself without formal training. As a Web developer, I would work on the back-end functionality of a website, such as database management, JavaScript scripting, or an API integration, as in WordPress. I do not design the websites, ie. pictures or look-and-feel of design, I simply have no professional experience or training doing that, although I do have professional skills using Photoshop, gimp, Dreamweaver or Firefox. Php and JavaScript are the most common tools I use. I can work with a variety of Databases, MySQL, MSSQL or Access for example. Also, WordPress and DotNetNuke, as well as CodeIgniter are API's I can work in. In my spare time I've learned Java and OpenGL ES 1.0 & 2.0 for mobile development, I also am accustom to variety of applications of the following programming languages: C++ (my first language), C, C#, Python, and Visual Basic. I have a personal hobby of learning to make video games and would enjoy an occasional game project. In my spare time I like to look at Open Source Software and often compile the code from source to my personal computer as well.
