Integration of a DEA database into the JD Edwards order processing system for address and license verification when regulated products are purchased. This reduced the call volume and order holds by over 50% regarding regulated order processing problems. Developed a workflow application utilizing BizTalk, SQL server, InfoPath and C#.NET. Application integrated with both SQL Server and the AS/400 using web services to reduce the time it takes to bring new products to market from weeks to days. This was a team effort between Microsoft and myself. Design and develop Pocket PC Order entry application written in Visual Basic .NET that pulls product and price information in real time from the company website. Application uses 802.11 b to communicate with the web site and utilizes the built in bar code scanner to make ordering a quick and easy task for our customers.
