Designing the user interface for a Web-based financial planning tool. Bypassed
an internal corporate design department to re-design bold, effective
and innovative websites for Merck’s public affairs, human resources and
finance departments. Set new standard for the firm.
Actively pursued by Merrill Lynch to redesign the interfaces for all internal tracking, planning and budgeting websites. Subsequently
developed a “web workshop” to empower administrative staff to
efficiently perform their own web updates. Project received positive
firm-wide recognition.
Recruited by AT&T to launch an intranet to track, distribute and
inform staff on tasks pertaining to a new consumer long distance
calling initiative. Project heralded as “outstanding” by management and
recognized with an award.
Persuaded upper management at a Wall Street firm, to use “avatars” to set apart a new website
for a major account. Subsequently gained two new
accounts.
