My first degree is in Physics from Iowa State University. The main subject of study in a physics program is problem solving. Programming is just a series of problems to solve and it is what I am best at.I am constantly looking for ways to make the code more modular, more efficient and find the most elegant solution. This helps to make the code readable as well as easily maintained. My projects are always completed on time, if not early. When I have a project I am constantly thinking about how to make it better, or about next steps so that when I am actually coding there is little downtime to think about issues. When it comes down to it I am passionate about coding. I have always loved solving problems and making things better/efficient. Loving what I do has been a huge boon to the quality of my work. I have worked the entire range of development professionally. I started out as a desktop application developer, moved on to server side developer, and now spend most of my time working on front end development. I have worked with databases throughout as well. My main passion lies in front end development as that what I moved my career towards, but I don't mind do any kind of development for the right job.
