I have been working for a company that specializes in technology for newspapers for the past eight years. Most development I have done has been in a proprietary language however I have had much exposure to Java (including JBuilder and Eclipse environments), C++ and scripting for applications such as InDesign. The broad base of skills I have learned over the years has made me very adaptable to the changing industry and has strengthened my knowledge in programming languages I had already known. I enjoy what I do and am looking to break into doing independent work so I can focus full-time on my business. I am currently a software developer, working with the same company for 10 years.
