I have been programming casually for several years and am looking to turn my skills toward contract work. I am versed in many languages, notably C, C++, Perl, PHP, Java, and Objective-C, and can adapt to new systems quickly. I would prefer to develop applications for Mac, Linux/FreeBSD, and iPhone, or do back-end web/database development in Perl+MySQL.

Michael did an awesome job with our perl script. It had some known security issues that he quickly located and fixed. He also found some issues that we didn't know existed and he fixed those as well. A thorough and timely job. I will certaintly hire him again.
