A professional website should be one of the most important tools that your business possesses. As a freelance web designer my aim is to create a stunning site that best portrays your business. I am a 21 year old student, originally from West Wales, living in Bristol. I first started learning to code a couple of years ago, and soon realised this was what I wanted to do. This inspired me to start doing a Digital Media Degree at UWE, Bristol, where I not only develop my coding skills, but also learn important design practices. I decided to become a freelance website designer and developer as a way of building a portfolio, and have had many people showing an interest in my work and currently have a few clients that I am building websites for. I enjoy the interaction with any customers to not only bring forward my own design ideas, but to also get a better understanding of what it is they want their website to look like, whether it be for personal use or for their business. It is important to build this strong relationship between the client and a web designer and developer. In the past, most websites were built for use on desktops and laptops. Nowadays however, it is a lot more common for people to view sites via their mobile. This then gives us as freelance designers and developers a new challenge, that is, making the website responsive for both tablets and mobiles. On top of this i can also work with you to do any graphic design work that you may need. I can create images, take photographs and design logos for you on top of the web development and design. As a freelance designer it allows me to create a more personal relationship with the client. This means that any design work done, is created on a personal level, with you in mind.
