I create custom macros that solve office problems. A macro, which is a custom program I write within the MS Office suite, might be written to solve a one-time issue ( such as data conversion) or might be crafted to be used frequently (such as for a daily report). If the actions you perform are repeated the same way, over and over, I can automate them. This saves significant time and money, and increases accuracy. I created one solution that took a text file output from SAP and converted it into a program within Excel that a manager could use to produce hundreds of different reports. The process of report creation went from one report created in two hours down to a customized workbook in five minutes that produced almost any report a manager could need from the data.
