I have extensive experience writing, editing, and proofreading copy for a wide range of marketing, communications, and public relations materials, including website landing pages, social media posts, brochures and collateral pieces, newsletters, advertisements, press releases, email campaigns, annual reports, speeches, video scripts, books, and more. I am very comfortable handling technical content and translating it into layman's terms. I wrote the text for the editorial sections of annual reports, including messages from the Executive Chairman and messages from the President and CEO, for Vishay Intertechnology, an industry-leading, high tech company. I wrote and/or edited over 75 press releases per year, including announcements of new products, company acquisitions, industry awards, and more. I did copywriting for advertisements, both print and online. I also have written press releases and advertising copy for colleges, an environmental consulting firm, and a medical marketing agency. At Vishay Intertechnology, I wrote copy for a social media campaign to attract a new, younger customer demographic. The campaign increased social media followers by more than 100%. I also wrote press releases for the company's 50-year anniversary campaign that generated a response from a state senator, which resulted in very positive, free publicity. While at Vishay Intertechnology, I proofread and edited a wide range of materials written by product engineering and sales staff.
