Although I am an American teacher in China, I also dab a little into writing and translating for acquaintances in my free time. Hopefully someone out there will be interested in needing my skills. Although my main career at the moment is teaching, it is a great desire of mine to pick up writing as a freelance career. Writing: Have a background in creative writing, and can also write articles for websites or blogs. If someone needs rewriting or proofreading, I can be your girl. There are also friends of mine who sometimes edit work together with me. Translating: A Chinese business partner and I work together to do some freelance work in translating various documents. These documents are translated from Chinese to English or English to Chinese (Chinese Simplified). We are generally a strong team, because we can proofread each other's work. Sample Work: It is possible for me to share a small part or sample version of your project to see if you are interested in my work. My writing style is flexible, and the topics I write about vary.
