Writing predominates among my skills, experiences, activities, and interests. Seven books, internationally-published academic papers, voluminous newspaper articles, song compositions in five music albums, numerous poems, and award-winning works of fiction can attest to this. My education that includes a master's in Literature and a doctorate in Literature and Communication has allowed me to master the different literary genres under the various types of writing. I can write each genre distinctly from the rest, exemplifying the classic attributes that each of them demands. I have taught these writing skills for decades, lectured about them in numerous workshops, and applied them in my own writing tasks. Of course, a significant part of all that is the editing/proofreading of my own works. I largely assumed the work of an editor when I was still the Chief Editor of our college paper, and later, when I became its adviser for nearly a decade, my student-editors then being just editors in name; the bulk of the editing work was still mine to tackle. Besides writing, I've been into visual arts, particularly painting, and editorial cartooning on which I have already written a book.
