I have worn several hats in the last couple of decades, during my association with the Corporate World. However, irrespective of the nature of job and profile that I was into, the one thread that ran through all my roles was my ability to network and influence.
I started my corporate journey in 1998 and headed the HR function for a couple of IT companies. These roles enabled me to acknowledge my calling and I thoroughly enjoyed understanding and responding to the human psyche. Thereafter, a break from my full-time corporate role provided me an opportunity to ponder over my next career calling. I found myself drawn to the academic world.
This new role helped me discover my penchant for teaching, counseling, guiding and I again found myself surrounded by people, the genre majorly being learners across all age groups. The diverse interactions with the learning community further cemented and helped me foster my networking and influencer image.
To further strengthen and deepen my understanding, I pursued Career Counseling and Psychology courses. I am now ready to craft out career opportunities that combine my knowledge and my interest to interact with people. I am looking forward to professional assignments in Career Counseling, Writing and HR.
