An expert copywriter, creative writer and editor, highly accomplished in the use of the written word to engage the reader and inspire action. Experienced in every aspect of online and print publication. my latest role included the creation of all content for a new website, comprising a total of approximately one million words written for a wide range of formats and purposes, from user retention emails and FAQ pages to full length specialist subject outlines, news features and press articles. In addition to formulating content strategy for the entire site and writing much of the content myself, I also commissioned and edited work from specialist writers. As the director of this project I also produced the following materials related to the written content: Created style manual, guides, policies and SEO instructions for all written content on the site. Organised and managed the production of articles on 420+ activities and subjects; wrote detailed copywriting briefs; sourced and supervised copywriters for relevant subjects; edited every article. Created alternative UK & US versions of all articles. Wrote texts for all other forms of written content, including landing pages, FAQs, on-site notifications, feature guides and user retention emails. Formulated and wrote complete guides for the production of news articles and features to feed into the timelines of every activity and city page, including policy for conducting interviews, covering all legal aspects and copyright. Edited every news item and feature produced––approximately 400 to date.
