I'm an experienced writer with an English degree, and have written -- and taught -- both nonfiction and fiction. I understand the writing process, including pre-writing strategies, drafting, revision, proofreading, editing, polishing, and publishing. I have taught this writing process to both adult and youth students. These classes have ranged from remedial writing classes for high school youth - in which I covered the requirements of the essay structure and of creative writing, working through the writing process described above - and the demands of teaching GED Language Arts to immigrants and refugees. I worked as a co-editor for a small press for 27 years, where I edited fiction (600+ publications), poetry (3 publications), and non-fiction (130+ publications) for grammar, punctuation, consistency, and quality. I have written magazine articles through an environmental lens (and continue to do so). See below for a sample listing: These projects have required extensive internet research, and used software such as: Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, OneNote), Dropbox, etc.
