I have completed B.A. Honours in English Studies with minor in Communicative Media and Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore. I have a prior internship experience at the Bangalore Mirror, I worked there in the summer of 2014. It made me familiar with the work-load and way in which a newspaper organisation functions in terms of picking relevant content. Working with the Feature department of a tabloid newspaper gave me an exposure to the way in which content could be made interesting and entertaining for quick readers. I worked with the Feature, City and Design teams, and engaged in reporting and editing. I have contributed, co-edited and co-managed content for 'We Care', a biennial magazine by Centre for Social Action (CSA), as the co-head of the Media and Communications Wing. I have also founded an online annual magazine 'Melange' with a view to connect local artists in my hometown, to provide a networking platform. I have an internship experience at Red Communications PR, Bangalore, where I worked on events and writing content for Public Relations, such as press releases and interview pitches. I have managed the content and organised two events for Metamorphosis. In addition to that as part of my first semester, I took a course on writing for print and a course on creative writing in my final semester, to gain some knowledge about the field. I also blog at wordalanche.wordpress.com
