I am an excellent writer, editor, and proofreader, having been employed as an editor and proofreader in the legal and medical fields and for a philosophy journal. Along with a love of research, I have a great deal of layman's knowledge in law and medicine, a fair grasp of history (but nothing modern), and a fair amount of knowledge of the world's major religions, including many pagan sects. College courses included many hours in philosophy, psychology, sociology, history, grammar and composition, English literature, journalism, and creative writing, and I graduated cum laude with a B.A. in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. I have good insight into character, personality, and behavior and a wide range of knowledge and experience that enables me to view and understand documents in context. I am familiar with prescriptive and descriptive grammar, idiom, colloquial expressions, and sentence, paragraph, and composition structure. I have developed a talent for "Americanizing" documents that have been translated from another language or written by authors for whom English is a second language. Additionally, I am familiar with online publishing and its procedures and requirements. I can even make your cover!
