I'm a recent graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, where I earned a B.A. in English with concentrations in creative writing and American literature. I've written extensively in both creative and editorial capacities. In all of my work, I strive for precision in detail and clarity in communication. As a creative writing concentrator, I participated in several by-application-only writing workshops. Those courses taught me how to make substantial edits and sharpened my narrative fiction and nonfiction skills. Additionally, I interned at a literary agency, so I'm familiar with what agents are looking for in manuscripts and queries. I also worked in the editorial department of The Barnard Bulletin, my college's lifestyle magazine. As the NYC Living and Health & Style Editor, I pitched and edited topical articles written by our team of staff writers. Later, as Managing Editor, I managed a team of 20 copy writers to ensure all copy was completed by the deadline. I'm passionate about writing and interested in taking on projects both big and small.
