I am a professional journalist, writer and editor with more than a decade's experience. I mainly freelance as editor of the English-language edition of The Lens Post, managing a team in the MENA region. I have recently freelanced for publications ranging from the Huffington Post to Private Eye, as a copywriter for corporate websites, and also as a part-time lecturer at Bournemouth University, from which I also hold a master's with distinction in Multimedia Journalism. I have previously worked as an editor at London Student newspaper, online editor at Socialist Worker and assistant editor at Socialist Review. More recently, I have been editor of Aftershock Nepal, a crisis-journalism project in Kathmandu. I have additionally copy-edited and proofread several books, including India Election 2014: First Reflections (Bournemouth University) and Material Girls: Women, Men and Work (Lindsey German, Bookmarks). I have also contributed to several books, most recently "Bordered Lives" by Hsiao-Hung Pai.
