My work draws from more than ten years of experience in multiple disciplines across various cities in India as researcher and practitioner. Qualified as an archi- tect, with an advanced training in areas related to human settlements, my re- search across policy and practice has looked into aspects of urban economy, ur- ban poverty, housing, urban mobility & transit oriented development, vulnerabil- ity and adaptation to climate change, livelihood security (rural & urban) and her- itage studies. My long term interest is in training myself to accommodate multi- ple frames of thinking from various disciplines and most importantly non-formal frames continuously produced by lived experience of people.
