I'm a Registered Nurse with 10 plus years of experience working in ER, Labor & Delivery, Med Surg and other patient care areas. I have been the Clinical Informatics Nurse for 5 plus years to current. In the Informatics role I built/customized our Electronic Health Record for the Hospital and Clinic, then trained all staff to use the record. I work daily with staff and the EHR doing updates, data research, and trouble shooting errors. To do this job I have the skills of being helpful, personable, understanding, multitasking and critical thinking. I recently have ventured into the IT role as well working with Microsoft 2016, Several verisons of Windows and users basic needs. I enjoy helping others, investigating errors, and even data collecting. I also have enjoyed writing and editing. I don't current have a blog but enjoyed writing in my college comp classes and have considered jumping back in the writing game now that my life has slowed down some. I'm the type of person that loves to stay busy, into fitness and a keto diet, a single mom and your basic midwest simple country girl.
