My name is Adriana, I am from Venezuela, and I’m 25 years old. I am a modern languages student, at the last stage of my career since I am now working on my thesis. I have been teaching for four years now and I have discovered that it is one of my biggest passions. Languages are an everyday part of my life. When I was 17, I had the chance to travel to the US to be part of a teaching program; I learned my basis on English and had amazing teachers who helped me on my grammar and pronunciation. When I came back home I initiated my formal studies in English and Portuguese, later on, I started to learn French (I am still learning, so I am not qualified to teach that language). Since I have always wanted to be more independent, on my third year of college I decided to start working; I believe that helped me gain more vocabulary and work on my confidence to speak in public. I also have experience working as an online teacher; I have work with platforms like Blackboard, Skype, Zoon and WizIQ. I have also worked as a translator for several companies about different subjects, and I learned how to investigate to find the exact terms. Besides that, I have lots of interests in learning how to write and I have been working as a ghost writer for several blogs. I am very eager to continue developing myself on my area and the languages I work with.
