For me, writing isn't something taught in schools. It's also not something you can learn. All the things we learn in schools are nothing but the basics of writing. We have been taught strokes and lines during our childhood years, basic grammar and spelling during our primary years, advanced grammar and proofreading in our secondary years, and research and writing tips in our tertiary years. All of these we learned in school but don't you think these are merely icing on a cake? The essence of writing lies on the author's passion. You can write the most grammatically correct paper but you can't write one that will make your audience read until the very last page. In the end, it's all about exuding your charm and passion into every word, sentence, and paragraph of your work whether that be a creative or an academic piece. Hence, writing is a talent. I am a creative and academic writer as well as proofreader with a Bachelor Degree in Language and Literature from the University of the Philippines - Baguio campus. I have years of experience in writing given my participation in writing contests, international and national language writing conferences and seminars, and editorial board member for the school newspaper during my primary, secondary, and tertiary years. With this, I could proudly say that together with my charm for words and passion for writing, I have possess a writing talent that is not just a product of my academics but real life experiences as well. Making my audience feel excited whenever they read my work is every writer's joy and it is my primary aim. Do you want your readers feel the same way too? If yes then I would gladly want to work with you.
