I’m a music/political/women’s rights nerd. I love to write about these topics, and quite honestly, I’m really good at it. Writing is where my worlds collide. I have interviewed and written profiles about music, visual, and performance artists as well as designers and entrepreneurs. My interview skills can translate into all different types of writing. I have the ability to be very succinct. For example, I have written one sheets and bios for music artists. I am also able to write more extensive and thorough pieces. For instance, I have written 70-page theses and academic papers on various issues pertaining to international relations. I’m well-informed and passionate about current events and politics. I have extensive experience in research and academic writing and received my MA in international conflict resolution and negotiation from the Monterey Institute of International Studies now known as the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. I have been published in various magazines (both print and digital) such as Paper Mag, FACT, Wax Poetics, LA Weekly, and others. I have a flexible schedule and am available for many types of research, writing, and editing projects.
