As a freelance writer, I've written about the Gettysburg Address and panic rooms for HowStuffWorks, shelling (what that is and where to go do it) and the Sarasota arts scene for Florida tourism sites, and corporate profiles for the Institute for Corporate Productivity. I wrote as Drama Mama for the New York Post from 2009-2014, and watched good, bad and just plain weird scripted TV. Additionally, I interviewed actors, producers and fans for feature articles. I trudged through the muddy swamps near Miami just to interview the cast and crew of the short-lived "Charlie's Angels" reboot, but the most difficult assignment I ever tackled was enduring "Outlaw," which wasted one hour of my life. When I was a staff editor for Women's Running (formerly Her Sports + Fitness) magazine, I put running gear for women through its paces, ran up a mountain with the LunaChix and offered female athletes ways to stretch at their desk.
