All human beings are born free and equal in rights. That’s why Indian constitution has ensured and enshrined fundamental rights for all citizens. These fundamental rights are given without any discrimination of caste, creed, religion , color, sex. These basic rights are commonly known as human rights. These are the basic rights with which every individual is born and these are recognized all over the world. Indian constitution ensures rights to equality, rights to freedom, rights against exploitation, rights to freedom of religion, cultural and educational rights, rights to constitutional remedy etc. to each of its citizen. Its purpose is to preserve individual liberty and democratic principles based on equality of all the members of the society. The necessity of formulating laws to protects human rights is now being felt all over the world. Protection of human rights is very important not only for individual but also for social stability both at national and international level. Breach of human rights causes conflicts everywhere. Its hinders both individual and national progress. Unfortunately the violation of human rights still continues in many parts of the world. A large number of people are deprived of basic neescities of life. i.e. food, shelter, and security to thing is sure here that as long as disparity of financial and economic condition among the developed and developing countries continues human rights have been reported even in the world’s largest countries life threatening persons condition child labour sex trafficking of children and so on.
