I'm a produced screenwriter and veteran development executive / story consultant. My film Janie Charismanic won Best Feature at the 2014 Silent River Film Festival and Best Romantic Feature at the 2014 Manhattan FIlm Festival.
I have been hired to write or rewrite more than seven features, one television pilot and two new media project. Several of these projects have been produced.
I'm comfortable working on assignment and on a deadline. When I am brought on-board to work on a project, I pride myself on bringing my screenwriting knowledge, creativity, talent and story sense to the table, without ever losing sight of the producer's vision and intent.
I have a degree in film and understand all aspects of the craft screenwriting in particular and storytelling in general. As a story consultant, I've worked with over a hundred screenwriters, producers, novelists and non fiction writers providing craft education and/or story development input. Having spent several years working as a development executive, I also understand the realities of the marketplace - what it takes to attract talent, investors, and audiences.

As a freelance writer I'm used to working on crazy deadlines and will do whatever it takes to meet them.
I've had clients tens of thousands of miles out of my timezone and always do my best to make myself available at their convenience. email, phone, skype, facetime whatever works for you, works for me.
I'm hired to write a lot of low budget indie stuff and understand the economic challenges in this world. But I'm a professional writer and expect livable wages (and I don't live rent free in my parent's basement.)
