The Reimagined Classroom was founded by former 3rd-grade co-teachers Brett Meyers and Michael Heyman. Our philosophy, collaborative style, and love for teaching helped to create one of the best classroom experiences for our students and inspired us to continue creating and innovating together. Our small company creates content and products in all subject areas including IB and STEAM from traditional standards-based instruction to innovative story led programs.
Michael has a Masters in Education and over 10 years of teaching experience, including at a NYC Title 1 public schools, where most of the children are ELL, and at an IB and STEAM school where he met Brett, his co-teacher and mentor. Brett also has a Masters in Education and focuses on IB and STEAM curriculum. He has over 22 years of education experience in the US education system, international private schools, and nonprofits. He has led many workshops on technology and best practices in the classroom.
We are able to provide services in the areas of ELA, math, social studies, science, and SEL, in addition to IB and STEAM, because we have a small collective of highly experienced and creative teachers who love to create content and products that we know will keep kids and teachers coming back for more.

Our company has flexible hours throughout the day and are based on our clients needs.
We work by contract/milestone, as established between the client and ourselves, or on an hourly basis.
We strive to establish clear expectations and deadlines by creating early and open lines of communication, starting with the first phone call or video chat.
