About

Skilled writer/editor with diverse background and unique, adaptable style. My extensive experience, advanced training, and exceptional intellect set me apart from others in the field.

A reader by nature and a writer by trade, I have spent the past 10 years developing a broad and varied expertise through both my professional and academic endeavors. Whether contributing to multi-million dollar film publicity campaigns, developing personal and corporate branding strategies, or educating young minds on the art and science of a well-crafted message, I seek to open up valuable creative and intellectual possibilities for my clients and bring them to life in meaningful ways. Through my work in education, marketing, publishing and entertainment, I have developed a keen analytical sense, acute rhetorical instincts, and an eye for the exceptional. My ability to distill a message and extract from it the most engaging elements, then deliver it in the form most suitable for the intended audience makes me an invaluable resource to companies and individuals alike. My services as a writer, editor and consultant range from ghostwriting and copy editing to research, proofreading, conceptual development and creative analysis, to name only a few.

-----------------------
I recently completed my MA in English from Chapman University where I was awarded numerous grants for my research and writing. The grants allowed me to travel across the United States and Canada to present my work at internationally recognized conferences. In 2014 I was awarded first prize in the Jane Austen Society of North America's annual essay contest for my paper on Austen's use of refraction as a rhetorical device in 'Mansfield Park.' In 2015 I received the highest honor awarded by the English department and my college: the Paul Frizler Award for Most Outstanding MA Student in Chapman's Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences. My research has been recognized for its intellectual reach and its innovative, interdisciplinary take on literary analysis, something I plan to develop further when I begin working towards a PhD in 2016.
